We Want To Know:
What is it you love about the sport?
I love the variety of the different styles, between fighting and forms. I also love having the opportunity to pass on my knowledge to students and helping them to achieve their goals.
What are your proudest moments within the sport?
Winning my first ever world title in 2008 and making history as the first Scot to medal in Forms at the World Championships!
What are you hoping to achieve as a BKC Ambassador?
I want to inspire people to thrive in the sport and really believe in their dreams; to do whatever they want to do. If you work hard enough you can achieve anything!
Is there anyone you’d like to thank for your success so far?
I would like to thank my coaches – Ryan Lyall, Colin Ritchie, and of course my number one fan: my mum.
What does the future hold for you?
My goal is to become world champion in all styles of Kickboxing, hence why I have moved onto K1 as well. Hopefully I will be able to achieve that goal!
What does the future hold for the sport, in your opinion?
I think the sport will grow until athletes like me can become truly professional fighters and travel the world.
Anything else you would like to add?
I have never given up kickboxing, because I have never lost the fire in my belly. I grow to love the sport more and more as time goes on as I’m still learning and still young.
