Forget Ladies Night, this 3rd-9th October is Women’s Sports WEEK! After another fantastic Olympic and Paralympic Games for Team GB in Rio, our friends over at the WomensSportsNetwork (WSN) are helping to promote a week dedicated to getting more women involved in sport all around the UK.
Clubs can get involved by promoting their #FemaleFriendly classes on the WSN’s ActiveMapX, a free service provided in partnership with SofaDodger that helps women find sports classes to suit them.
Students and casual members can also get involved by encouraging friends and family to try sport with you as part of the #ACTIV8aFriend initiative, which aims to get more women to invite their friends, families, co-workers and neighbours to give their chosen sport a try! You can find out more about it, here.
