Working With Sported!

The BKC is proud to announce that we are now an Associate Member of Sported, a nationwide charity supporting over 3,000 community groups that use the power of sport to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people. Sported is partnered with the Sports Councils and other sporting organisations, including Boxing England, and we are very much looking forward to working with them to achieve our goal of using Kickboxing as force of good in the community.

“As a charity, Sported supports the growth of local community groups that use sport as a tool to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people. Collectively, its members reach an estimated 450,000 young people across the UK.” – www.sported.org.uk

Sported also recently became the first UK-wide community sports organisation to partner with the Sainsbury’s Active Kids programme, another sport-focussed charity group which provides equipment and grants to local sports clubs through collection of Active Kids vouchers.

I was always taught that Kickboxing is about “more than just kicking and punching” and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve with our new partnership!
